They already wanted Karishma out when they thought her a mere annoyance. Now she’s proven herself a threat. So it’s hard to imagine they not continue to target her. Actually, it’s kind of easy to imagine this group getting distracted and deciding it’s been too long since they made a Move. But… I’m gonna say they don’t. Split votes between Karishma and Elaine, but with Karishma getting the majority of votes. (I’ve decided that the target has moved off of Janet because Dan realizes that Tommy and Lauren outnumber him in their alliance. And it makes me feel awful to think that her continued success is dependent on him. but I take solace in the fact that she’s the one who didn’t want it that way).

I am of two minds this week. I can see the group wanting to finish what they started and vote Karishma. I can see them wanting to boot a big threat and vote out Elaine. There are two differences here. (1) Elaine has more game and will put up more of a fight to stay and (2) Karishma is not as tightly embedded in Tommy and Lauren’s alliance as the other goats. So assuming that Karishma’s unlikely idol finds remain unlikely, Karishma is the boot this week.

The family visit has a tendency to remind people why they’re really out there playing the game. The connections they’ve made for the last month don’t mean shit compared to their loved ones in the real world. People are going to remember how charming Elaine is (and possibly learn more backstory) and realize they’ve let her too deep into the game as it is.

With the Dan-Lauren-Tommy alliance seemingly in control- and with Elaine and Dean believing themselves part of that core alliance- this week seems likely to be a vote split. The votes are likely going to Karishma and Janet, and this seems as good a week as any for the show to take Janet away from us and deny us the one potentially season-redeeming result still possible.

I’m going to mix it up this week and say Karish—nah, just kidding. If there was any week for Dan to go, a family visit where he rubs someone the wrong way (figuratively or, god forbid, literally) feels like the time for it to happen. The goat army doesn’t like him, and if one of them goes, I’ll be sad. But not sad enough to tune in this week. (Now watch my pick be off by one letter).
Matt
On the podcast I predicted Karishma. Playing the idol will only remind people that 1) she is not with them, and 2) she can hurt them. And Karishma doesn’t really have any allies that will go to bat for her. So Karishma.
