Staff Predictions

Andy

The thing about last week’s episode is that had Michael not changed his mind and actually protected Brendan (and thus had been successful in booting Bradley), NOTHING about the edit would have needed changing. It was Bradley’s downfall without the downfall. I’m not sure what to do with that. I mean, obviously he’s not winning. But how imminently is his losing? It’s hard to say, especially given his current position in the game. But I don’t want to miss out on when he loses, so I’ll keep predicting Bradley for now.

For nu-Naviti (who I think will be the ones going to Tribal Council), I think knowing Domenick ACTUALLY has an idol will scare Laurel away from fully aligning with him, and thus will want to get it away from him the least dangerous way possible (or at least she should). Voting for Wendell while telling Dom the vote is coming his way would be a way to do that. Plus, you all really believed in him for fantasy purposes, so he’s doomed.

(Waitasec… what if Bradley and company THROW the challenge to get rid of more original Malolos? THAT would explain his edit so far, right? And WHAT IF HE GOES HOME AS A RESULT?!? Dammit. Now any other outcome other than this will be a crushing disappointment).

John

Orange tribe: It’s been nice knowing you, Jenna – in the sense that we never really got to know you but presumably will get at least a brief glimpse of who you are if your tribe loses immunity this week. While I’m sure Sebastian will think the flirtation we saw in the preview last week is just peachy, the rest of his tribe will view your ass as a threat and want to put you in the rear view. (Editor’s note: you think you’re being slick, but you’re not).

Purple tribe: I’m going to keep picking Chris Noble until I get it right. I’m just very excited for a Chris Noble boot episode. I’m probably building it up too much and will be disappointed. Although if we somehow get a Chris Noble boot episode that involves him receiving and attempting to play A Fucking Stick, I might just explode.

Emma

While it’s tempting to continue predicting my own Team Douchebag to go home, for fear of being boring, I will go the cynical route instead. On nu-Naviti, the four Malolos will be concerned when Angela looks a little too happy to see that her former tribe mates prevailed. Knowing that Chris and Domenick will continue to butt heads and provide a possible crack at the merge, the Malolo Four will vote out Angela instead.

Meanwhile, the flirtation between Sebastian and Jenna makes both of them a target, despite Sea Bass lobbying to keep who he will almost certainly refer to as “his girl.” Unfortunately, the patterns of Survivor prevail and Jenna is voted out

nu-Malolo: I think the hits keep on coming for the minority alliance here. For one more week ,they are targeted and Jenna goes home, mainly because Sebastian is getting close to her, but also because they still want to use Michael for challenges.

nu-Naviti: Meanwhile over on Naviti, it seemed like Wendell and Domenick were thrown a lifeline and then we also saw in the next time on that Donathan and Chris are bonding, so who the hell knows where everybody is over there. So I’m going to roll over my prediction from last week and keep predicting Angela just because she is the only one not seen bonding with someone else. Also, I just want to keep the Domenick vs Chris Noble show around because I find it funny.
