The one thing that unites us all in this league is failure- and there has been a whole lot of uniting lately.

Kishan was the 4th-most popular pick in the league this year. That means the past three weeks have resulted in the boots of #1, #4, and #5 from the most-popular list. You guys are really bad at this!

This league features some great names: GiGi, NiNi, The Cat, and The Squirrel. I have decided that Gigi is short for grandma, NiNi is the nephew, and the cat and the squirrel are literal animals who drafted via a contraption wherein they selected a treat from beneath the picture of the player they wanted. That also explains why The Squirrel got one extra player- that crafty fucker waited until the last pick and then grabbed two treats at once. Alas, this chicanery has not put The Squirrel in the lead, as The Cat has not lost a single player yet. But in a league named with a reference to Emperor’s New Groove, I have to root for GiGi- I see GiGi and think older woman, which makes me think Yzma, which makes me think winner.
