Oh, let me tell you about Survivor 45, episode 8! Back in my day, we didn’t have all this cushy reality TV nonsense. We had to work hard for a living, none of this glamorous island nonsense. But I suppose I’ll indulge you young whippersnappers and tell you how things went down.

So, this episode started off with a challenge called “Millennial Mayhem,” because apparently these younger folks need everything handed to them on a silver platter. They had to balance on a beam while holding a tray of participation trophies. Oh, the irony! In my day, we didn’t have participation trophies, we had to earn every damn thing! These youngsters couldn’t even handle it, constantly dropping their trays left and right.

You wanna talk voting strategies? Ha! These millennials have no idea what they’re doing. They all think they’re so fancy with their hashtags and selfies, but let me tell you, Survivor is not just a popularity contest. It’s about outwitting, outplaying, and outlasting.

Anyway, the players, oh my, where do I even start? We had Brad, the young smooth talker who believes he’s God’s gift to women. Well, let me tell you something, son, back in my day, we had to court a lady properly, none of this swiping right nonsense!

Then there’s Amber, the hipster wannabe, with her man-bun and ironic mustache. Oh, please! Back in my day, men looked like men, not lumbersexuals!

And don’t even get me started on Kayla, the yoga instructor. All she did was twist and turn, trying to impress everyone with her flexibility. Well, in my day, we didn’t have fancy yoga studios, we had to do physical labor from dawn till dusk!

But the highlight of this episode was when they headed to Tribal Council. These millennials couldn’t vote for someone without calling it a “safe space” or a “peace offering.” What a load of hogwash! In my day, we called it what it was – an elimination.

In the end, they voted off Alex, the trust fund baby who never had to lift a finger in his entire life. Good riddance! Back in my day, we didn’t have trust funds, we had to earn our keep by blood, sweat, and tears!

So, there you have it, Survivor 45, episode 8, where the entitled millennials got a taste of the real world for a change. Bah! These kids have it so easy, they don’t even know how hard they have it.

Hard to decide my favorite part here: Amber the lumbersexual having an ironic mustache or the challenge being to balance a tray of participation trophies. But agreed, cranky boomer. These kids have it so easy, they’re letting AI chatbots do all their work for them. Lousy kids and their lazy ass technology.

Mark is still in first place here, with a 9-point lead over Mike Hirsch. Both will definitely return for next season’s league. Carolyn Screams loses Kellie this week, and thus any chance at cracking the top four. The Ladder is still languishing in last place, behind three other teams that have both players already voted out. The Ladder needs Jake to go hahdah on the points.
