Champions League:

Mark is still in first place, leading Mike Hirsch by a single point. Yau-Man Forever falls to third and also takes the L by losing J Maya this week. You would think my wife would be excited that her lone fantasy player survived this week, which is kind of true in that she enjoyed the episode but she does not remember that he is on her team.

Other leagues

This week’s league spotlight falls on Capital District. The teams in this league are all seemingly three first names, so I’m guessing it was groups of people picking each team. But here is where they lose me: How are there nine of them? Who has nine friends? This seems fake. I’ve decided that it’s actually three people, and each of those people have two pets. Christine, for example, has a cat named Louise and a cockatoo named Bryan. Karen’s two little pugs, Megan and Vinny, are very confused as to why Megan selected Brandon in the fifth round when other options still existed. And Angie’s goldfish, Sue and Alyssa, have presumably died in the six weeks since this fantasy team was created. May their memories live on in the form of a single line on my spreadsheet.
