Tommy was the most popular fantasy pick and also the winner of the season. It’s almost as though he was getting some kind of “winner’s edit”, which is a new term I just came up with. I hope it sticks! Anyway, he tied with Dean for the most points scored this season.

Individual scoring

3 points to Dean for finding an idol.

4 points to Dean for correctly nullifying an idol.

4 points to Dean and Noura for their respective immunity wins.

2 points each to all the non-Janets that voted out Janet.

16 points to Tommy for the eight votes he received at final tribal council, and 4 points to Dean for his two votes received.

Pick-4 League

Holding Hands in the Dark is your champion this season, having hung around the top 20 for most of the season before clinching the win at the end. But in a fun twist, no one in the top six has any contact information in their username (either a Disqus name, Twitter username, email, or knowing me well enough to text me), which is a requirement to be invited into next season’s Champions League. Thus, our Champion’s League invitees for next season are: Tupu (who provided an email), longtime commenter Alkanarra, rickdevensdeservedbetter (who provided a Twitter name), and my real life human friend Frienchooser, who makes it to the Champions League for the second time despite being the most casual of casual fans. Unreal.

Davidthemailman wins this season’s league while having Dan on his team- truly a bittersweet victory. He also won the league despite not having the season’s winner on his team- a relatively rare feat. He will be joined in next season’s Champions League by pufflehuff, Assistant Dragon Slayer, and Ms. Woozah, assuming they all accept their invitations to compete- and it’s a fucking all-winners season, so why wouldn’t they?

Wimpy Little Non-Leaders League:

You know who else is going to Champions League next season? Our very own Matt, who won the Wimpy Little Non-Leaders League despite not having the season’s winner on his team- a less rare feat than it used to be about two paragraphs ago. Matt winning the league named after a quote from his favorite Survivor is so beautiful that it couldn’t have been scripted any better, because he also used to be the commissioner of this league back when it was the Outcasts League. In fact, his win would make the perfect storybook ending to this league. So that’s what it will be, because this league will not be coming back next season. Congratulations to Matt for his promotion to Champions, and a big thank you to Assistant Dragon Slayer for serving as commissioner of this league for the past few seasons.
