We have a new queen of Ponderosa. And we have a new king atop the Pick-4 standings.

Desi was on 28% of teams, and about 20% of the top 25 teams. But just as with Jessica last week, being on tribes that were generally successful before the merge helped her earn a decent amount of points before her exit.

Individual scoring

At last, some interesting scoring! I’ll go chronologically here:

Chrissy, Cole, Devon, JP, and Ryan get 1 point for the reward challenge win. Joe doesn’t get a point, because he didn’t actually win a challenge.

3 points to Ryan for finding the idol.

4 points to Cole for the immunity win.

2 points each to Ashley, Ben, Chrissy, Cole, Devon, JP, Mike, and Ryan for post-merge VTEP. No points for Lauren, because she didn’t cast a vote. And while you could make an argument that the people who didn’t get it right on the re-vote shouldn’t get 2 points, I think the group as a whole voted out the player they wanted gone. Also, when in doubt, we tend to lean towards awarding more points rather than less.

Pick-4 League

Rogers Communist Manifesto takes over the lead this week, opening up a 5-point advantage on a group of four people that includes our beloved live-blogger Matt and new commenter Star Z. PRP meetup attendee Vaderdawsn moves her team into sixth place, and fellow meetup attendee EmAndScoutInBK moves into the top 25 for the first time this week. Em is joined in a tie for 22nd place by longtime commenter Diego Armando. And my real life human friend Friend Chooser lost her first player and fell to 13th place this week.
