Eric was the 4th most popular pick in our fantasy league. And yet, this far into the season, my wife was still asking, “Which one is he again?”

Holding Hands in the Dark has opened up a staggering 10-point lead. Over a field of 300+ teams! Normally the top of the standings are super tight until the last few weeks of the season, so I’m impressed. Maybe Holding Hands in the Dark is actually Ron Clark’s team. Anyway, Roswulf, BadPlayer, and Robot Purple Rock Emma are all in the top four. And just behind that group sits my beloved Team Mesothelioma, currently tied with Something Quirky.

Hornacek is sitting in 14th place, and in 20th place there’s a tie between my real-life human friend Friendchooser, and longtime commenters Storm of Cuteness and Pufflehuff. And normally I would never stoop to acknowledging people on the second page of the standings, but right now there’s a tie for 23rd place between Purple Rock John and my best friend Saturday Night Palsy. Twinsies! We’re gonna get matching “23rd place in fantasy league” tattoos!
