Welcome to the final predictions of the season, AKA when Matt chokes away his lead.

Andy

There’s no reason you should pay attention to my predictions. I’ve only gotten two right all season (the two most obvious: Natalie and Dan), and they’re the same as the notorious finale choker. Move on to better predictions that have a chance at being right.

6. Davie 5. Alison 4. Nick 3. Angelina (alright, I feel good about this one) 2. Mike White 1. Kara

If there are two things that I am absolutely sure of in my gut going into this finale, it’s that Angelina will make FTC, and Davie will not. But I don’t think Davie loses a fire-making challenge, and I think if he made F5 safely, he’d be locked in at the end anyway. So Davie gone at F6 it is.

Similarly, I don’t think Alison makes FTC, and we’ll axe her at F5.
So then it comes down to Nick vs. Kara in the F4 immunity challenge; the winner moves onto FTC and the loser faces Mike White in firemaking (Angelina is making FTC after all). Does it matter who wins? Nope; Mike White loses firemaking to either.

Then Angelina comes third.

And then if we tally the votes: I think Nick gets Carl, Gabby, Christian, Davie, Alison. Kara gets John, Dan, Alec, Mike White. I don’t know where to place Elizabeth, but if she votes for Nick, he wins; if she votes for Kara, Angelina votes Nick as the tiebreaker. So Kara in second, Nick in first.

Emma

Sixth place: Davie is who most people want to win at this point. He is entertaining, seems like a fun dude and his path to the end would probably be crazy. So it’s only fitting he goes in the same spot as Jay, in the most recent great season of Survivor.

Fifth: Nick, who goes out fifth because it’s what fits my narrative. Presumably he never finds another idol or something. He’s devastated to miss out on the opportunity to make fire.

Fourth: Alison loses the fire-making challenge and never did win another immunity after the first one.

Third: Angelina will be lucky to get one vote, but boy will she be entertaining as she tries to earn more.

Second: Mike White probably promises to give all the money to charity and there are people who like him. Between that and being the one to bring down Christian, he gets a couple goes.

Winner: Fuck it. People like Kara, her quiet game didn’t offend anyone and she probably won some immunities down the stretch once there was no reason to hide her prowess.

John

6th place: It should be Davie. It’ll probably be Davie. But I’m going to guess that Davie saves himself somehow and this vote ends up on Alison.
5th place: Again, if it wasn’t Davie in 6th, it should be Davie here. But I’m just going full on wishful thinking at this point and picking Nick.
4th place: Davie‘s going to end up losing fire-making to someone. Hopefully Angelina, because I just want her to bring it up in FTC.
3rd place: Angelina, and if it needs any sort of explanation how the fuck are you on this website?
2nd place: Mike would definitely come in second to…
The winner: Kara.

Mark

6th: Davie wins immunity. Alison’s name has been thrown around as a threat so much that Mike, Angelina, and Kara won’t want a “more worthy” Goliath to take their place. Alison goes at last.

5th: As much as I want it to happen, I don’t know if Davie can make it past this point. He’s a huge threat, and Nick doesn’t seem like he’s keen on taking him to the end. Davie was always closer with Christian, anyways.

4th: Ah, the fire challenge. I’m going to guess that Nick, as the last David, faces…Kara, the dark horse. Angelina is going to BEG to be put in the fire challenge to prove herself but as usual, no one listens to her.

3rd: Angelina. “Mike, can I have your money? Mike? Mike? …Guess not.”

2nd: Mike: “What money? I already have enough.”

1st: Nick: “This money!” (Does his air guitar solo.)

Matt

As Andy and John astutely pointed out on the podcast, Nick’s fake idol did a number of things: it destroyed the trust between Nick and Davie, it cost Nick his idol and it now has set the last two Davids against each other. So my prediction is that Davie is going home at 6th as he becomes the target because of his idol play and his fissure with Nick. Then at 5, Nick is very vulnerable, but I will predict this is the one time Mike White doesn’t vote out a David (okay Natalie second time, sorry), and Alison finally goes home. At 4, Nick loses fire-making reminding us of all the times people complained about Nick being lazy and not doing anything at camp he proves this true by failing to make fire. So final three is Mike White, Angelina, and Kara. Kara is going to win this three, so the real question is whether Mike or Angelina even get a vote, and I will say that MIke White will get a vote and get 2nd place and Angelina will be third despite the fact that she gave up a chance at immunity to get the tribe RICE! RICE! COME ON PEOPLE SHE GOT YOU RICE!
